Matthysse was not
hesitant in looking
for the knockout.
He was willing
to take shots to
give shots.

Early on Soto was
not able to deal
with the extra
strong Matthysse
and found himself
tossed on the floor.

Soto tried going
for the bomb but
couldn't land the
big one. The
Mexican tried all
the tricks in his
bag.

  When Soto could
not land the bomb
he worked on out
boxing the heavy
hitting Argentine.
Nothing worked.

Matthysse began
landing the big
right hand bombs
and Soto was taking
shots in abundance.
He has a good chin
at lightweight, but
this was a junior
welterweight
killer taking aim.

When it happened
it happened
suddenly. Rights
and lefts caught
Soto and down
he went. It was the
first knockout loss
of Soto's career.

Argentina's Lucas
Matthysse has
finally arrived.
Is there any junior
welterweight that
can cope with his
power?

  New Jersey's Denis
"Mamma's Boy"
Douglin and Houston's
Jermell Charlo banged
it out in a junior

Charlo proved the
better fighter and
caught Douglin
walking into a
right hand and it
was over in round
four.
